It is capable of withstanding shocks up to 100,000 g, the CXOXLPNR is housed in a hermetically sealed ceramic 3.2 x 2.5 mm package and has an operating temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C. TheCXOXLPNR delivers a low voltage CMOS output with low phase noise, low jitter and low acceleration sensitivity.

Mill-Max has expanded its line of spring-loaded products with single and double row First Mate/Last Break (FMLB) connectors. These connectors support applications where electrical signals must be made and broken in sequence rather than all at once, such as in hot swapping or hot plugging.
This product release includes six new connectors, three unique configurations each available in single and double row versions, all on .100” (2.54 mm) pin centers. The connectors feature spring pins with precision-machined external components and high reliability internal springs, all gold-plated to ensure the highest conductivity, corrosion resistance and durability. The pins have a current rating of 2 amps and the connector housings are molded from high temperature thermoplastic, suitable for most soldering processes.

Mill-Max Manufacturing Corp., Inc. announces the release of a new pre-wired spring-loaded connector, a two-position header with crimp terminated wires. This product combines high quality Mill-Max spring-loaded pogo pins with the convenience of a 12” pig-tail to suit a wide variety of applications.
The new 867-22-002-70-501010 cable assembly is a cost-effective solution when a wired connection is required in an electrical assembly. Crimping wires to a connector comes with challenges: gang crimping tooling is not readily available and the alternative, crimp and poke connectors, can be time consuming and labor-intensive to use. This connector eliminates those issues and is ready to use in a host of wire termination applications. The open end wire offers flexible termination possibilities such as soldering, crimping, splicing or connecting to a terminal block. The 867 series uses high reliability Mill-Max spring-loaded pins making it an excellent choice for battery charging, low-power delivery and quick connect purposes.

The latest receptacles designed by Mill-Max features minimal insertion length contact which allows for shorter mating leads. These receptacles accept lead diameters from .037” - .043” with a minimum mating lead length of .058” for top entry insertion. This is a 30% reduction in required lead length from the current receptacle offerings. The reduction is due to the hourglass design and extended contact surface area, eliminating the need for excess protrusion through its fingers for reliable electrical contact. The ability to use shorter mating pins provides several advantages such as compressed packaging, shorter electrical signal paths and lower potential RF signal interference.

The 858-22-00X-80-XX1101 and 858-22-00X-80-XX2101 connectors are new additions to our 4 mm pitch rugged spring-loaded series, they are the first Mill-Max connectors to incorporate spring pins with active plungers at each end. This unique feature makes these connectors ideal for situations in which a soldered connection is not desirable or may not be possible due to design constraints such as temperature considerations, stack up tolerance issues or where ease of assembly and disassembly is required. With spring-loaded plungers as the interface at both ends, the connector is sandwiched between two mating surfaces using screws to compress the plungers on the base end, eliminating the need for soldering. The opposite end plunger then acts as any other spring-loaded connector, ready to engage with a mating device or board.

Mill-Max has recently launched its zero profile receptacles which eliminates any above board connector protrusion, enabling overall package height to be reduced. These receptacles have a precision machined, hexagon shaped flange which is pressed into the PCB Plated Through-Hole (PTH) until flush with the surface of the board. No soldering is required as the press-fit forms a gas-tight connection with a properly specified plated through hole. After installation, the zero profile PCB contacts enable a broad range of devices to be plugged in while minimizing overall interconnect height.

The new 868 series connectors include solder-cups to accommodate wire and cable attachment along with flanged insulators and fastening options. They are ideal for mounting into product housings for docking stations, cable terminations, heavy duty quick connects and panel mount equipment.
Available in 2-6 positions, it features high temperature molded Nylon 46 insulators compatible with RoHS soldering processes. Mounting tabs, integrated into the insulators, provide a means for secure attachment to product housings or PCBs.

The removable plastic cap provides the convenience of a traditional connector and once removed delivers an interconnect system with a minimal surface mount profile.
These new sockets, 835-43-0XX-40-030001, and headers, 328-10-1XX-40-020001 are an excellent choice for applications where vertical board stacking is not an option, such as in LED lighting systems which often employ daisy-chained PCB’s to minimize overall package height.
